INFO ON CANCER IN PETS

This page is dedicated to Fudge, your webmaster's one-in-a-lifetime dog and friend.  Fudge died of cancer on June 6, 1999, after have been diagnosed with the disease in November of 1998.

We, my husband and I, were, at the time, desperate for information on which to base treatment decisions.  There was little available. As a result, we made decisions that, in retrospect, greatly diminished the quality of her remaining life.  It is our hope that the information you find on this page will help you make better decisions than we did if your pet is diagnosed with this terrible disease.  We urge you to compare all treatment options available for your pet, including the option not to treat it.

Fudge was a very special dog and she is sorely are missed by her family and friends.
